How To Link To Images: WordPress

This may be way below what anyone will call a tutorial, but some people who have never made a WordPress theme before may be wondering how to link to images in your images folder; without writing out the who url out. This method is poor at best because when someone uses your theme none of the images will work and if you just leave it “images/image.png” then the way WordPress works it won’t be able to find it because the images folder on a a different level than the some of the WordPress installation.

Real Time Analytics

Everyone who has a site probably checks their “stats’ as they used to be called. Analytics is the more professional way to put it, everyone has heard of Google Analytics and they are well supported by the web design community. Although they do have one problem the statistics are only updated every 24 hours which can be annoying if you need to get data for a promotion you are putting on or figuring out how much traffic you really get from social media.
